Your place in the King’s MFA in Creative Nonfiction… It’s not too late
If you have an idea for a nonfiction book, we can help you get it onto the page—and you can do it from wherever you live.
Come hear about the MFA in Creative Nonfiction offered jointly by Dalhousie University and the University of King’s College. This two-year limited-residency program allows you to combine short, intense, on-campus sessions with ongoing one-to-one mentoring by professional nonfiction writers, editors and teachers. The program includes two June residencies in Halifax, and two January residencies that alternate between Toronto and New York, North America’s two leading publishing centres. (During the pandemic, our teaching has shifted fully online, but we continue to feature guests and speakers from Toronto, New York and elsewhere. When it is safe to do so, we anticipate a return to in-person residencies.)
At the Meet & Greet, you’ll have the opportunity to speak with faculty, mentors, alumni and current students, to get the full story on getting your story onto the page.
Our latest Zoom Meet & Greet session will take place Sunday, February 7 at 4 pm Atlantic time. This event is free, but you must RSVP to kim.pittaway@ukings.ca, using the subject line “MFA Meet & Greet” to be placed on the guest list and provided with Zoom link.
You can find more information about the program here.
